Fisk University’s Jada Spight Advances on BET’s Sunday Best Season 10

BET’s Sunday Best season 10 premiered off last Sunday, July 5th at 8/7C. The show is hosted by  GRAMMY-winning legend Kirk Franklin and judges GRAMMY-winning songstress and radio personality Erica Campbell, GRAMMY-nominated  Kelly Price and GRAMMY-nominated and Stellar Award-winning artist Jonathan McReynolds.

During the first episode, the judges had to pick their top 20 which will later be narrowed down to the top 10. Fisk’s rising junior Jada Spight absolutely blew the judges away with her powerful performance of “I Need Thee” and secured herself a spot in the top 20. University President Dr. Kevin D. Rome said, “Fisk is proud and excited to see one of our own following their dreams and sharing their passions with the world! There’s just something special about Jada that makes people love her, I hope you know we’re all rooting for you, Jada!”

Jada said on the experience, “As a student of life, it is imperative to learn and to accept constructive critiques as it is instrumental in personal development.
